ABOUT ME

Sam Berk (@thru__thelens) has been working in the aerial photography industry since 2020. First developing a likeness to photography, he then picked up a drone for the first time in 2019 and has been flying ever since. Sam has worked with brands both in the U.S. and internationally. Working with businesses in the tourism, hospitality, and real estate industries, he additionally shoots landscape photos for his personal brand across the world. He is a New York-based aerial landscape photographer and founder of Aerial Visuals Gallery, located in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Sam travels globally with his drone to capture nature’s most striking scenes — from crashing waves and exotic rice terraces to vibrant island landscapes and serene coastlines. He has a professional certification as a remote drone pilot by the Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) and the European Union. Transitioning from a career in the medical field, Sam now flies above the skies of New York and beyond as a drone photographer, capturing shots from a bird’s eye view. He strives to provide both his audience and the brands he works with unique, raw, and immersive content throughout the world.
